Chase has three new Private Client checking account bonuses worth up to $3,000

Chase has three Chase Private Client (CPC) offers that are available to new and existing CPC checking accountholders: $1,000 for $150,000 in deposits, $2,000 for $250,000 in deposits, and $3,000 for $500,000 in deposits.

How to get the bonus:

  • Meet with a Private Client Banker by April 19, 2023 to open a new CPC checking account if you don’t currently have one.

  • Within 45 days of coupon enrollment, transfer qualifying new money or securities to a combination of eligible checking, savings and/or J.P. Morgan Wealth Management non-retirement accounts. Your bonus will be determined on day 45.

  • Maintain your new money for at least 90 days. Gains and losses to qualifying investment balances from trading or market fluctuation will not be counted for purposes of meeting the balance requirements.

The bonus will be deposited into your Private Client within 40 days of you fulfilling the offer requirements.

The terms suggest that existing customers can skip the trip to the branch and just start the offer process by making the qualifying deposits. It’s best to still request an offer code and contact Chase or your personal banker via secure message or email to ensure that you’re enrolled in the offer.

Usually, Chase’s bonus offer terms indicate that customers who’ve received a checking account bonus within the past 12 months are ineligible. But, the terms for these three offers state, “You can receive only one Chase Private Client Checking new money bonus in a 12-month period from the last bonus coupon enrollment date.” So, you may be able to receive this bonus even if you got a bonus for something other than a Chase Private Client checking account in the past 12 months. You should contact Chase to confirm your eligibility. As always, it’s recommended to get written documentation. So, an email or secure message is the best way to inquire about the offer.
