CVS offering free heart health screening for women this February

CVS is supporting the American Heart Association’s Go Red for Women movement by providing free heart health screenings for women this February, which is American Heart Health month.

Heart disease is the number one killer of women. Through its MinuteClinic, CVS will offer women screening for five five factors that can help them determine their risk for heart disease and the needed to take steps toward improving their health. The screening includes total cholesterol, HDL (good) cholesterol, blood pressure, blood sugar and body mass index.
