Early Warning Services, owner of Zelle, to launch a digital wallet

Early Warning Services (EWS) has confirmed that it will launch a digital wallet this year.

The wallet is EWS’s attempt to tap into the $2 trillion payments app market and will compete with top digital wallets, like PayPal and Apple Pay.

Early Warning Services is not new to the payments market as it owns one of the most used peer-to-peer payment apps, Zelle.

Early Warning Services is owned by Capital One, US Bancorp, Wells Fargo, JPMorgan Chase, Truist, Bank of America, and PNC.
