How to chat with Citi

Since Citi’s online account center makeover, the process of accessing chat is not as simple as it used to be. Previously, the chat icon was always visible as you navigated your Citi portal.

 

After the portal upgrade, you can access the chat feature by clicking the “How can we help?” link in the upper right-hand side of the page. After scrolling to the bottom of the window that pops up, you’ll be presented with an option to chat. This appears to be an enhancement to the site that we didn’t even notice until we began writing this entry.

 

Previously, users would need to enter the keyword “chat” after clicking the “How can we help?” link. A link to the Contact page would be among the list of results. After accessing the Contact page, you could then click the chat option. This method for accessing Citi’s chat feature is still available.
